Rise and shine. It’s the start of a brand new week. I know what you’re feeling. You got the Monday blues—I get that a lot too. But a lazy day such as this doesn’t mean your outfit should be. This is another chance for you to conquer the week and start off with a clean slate. Another chance to finish those pending deadlines, run those errands and be a better version of yourself. Go for a stylish but light button down for a hot day in Manila. Pair it with a loose white tank top, a pair of tailored trousers and your favorite sneakers. You’re welcome.

Yet another scorching hot day in Manila. Go for a no-brainer look: a shirt and a pair of your favorite jeans. If you’re going for this laid back look, the least you could do to make your outfit pop is to wear a vibrant colored shirt. Think mustard or burnt orange—don’t go for the basic ones. Pair it with your favorite pair of jeans for ultimate comfort. Perfect for a day at the mall or a movie with friends. If you’re running errands, you might want to change into a comfy pair of sneakers.

Happy Wednesday! You’re halfway through the week. Grab coffee at your favorite café, run a couple of errands, meet with clients, meet up with a friend, maybe head out for drinks at your favorite speakeasy bar. For a long day like this, a pair of navy blue trousers will never fail you. Pair it with a comfy shirt and a tote bag, enough to carry your camera, planner and laptop. Finish off the look with a comfy pair of white sneakers.

Thursdays are more relaxed than usual. Now if I can only wear this everyday, I would. Wear this outfit for days when it’s just too hot to wear pants, but cool enough to wear a jacket indoors. Did that even make sense? Haha! If you’re wearing a shirt and shorts combo, make sure that your outfit looks good even without the jacket. Also try to stick to the same color palette, like this olive and moss green combo. It would look so much put-together, without doing so much effort with the styling. Wore this to a whole afternoon writing at my favorite café, then met up with friends for dinner and karaoke.

TGIF! Congratulations! You conquered a week meeting new people, booking new projects, accomplishing what you need to do, learning something new and slaying those outfits! End the week with a bang with this smart casual look. This outfit screams professional but I don’t want to take myself too seriously just yet. Haha! Yes, you have this power suit on, but pair it with a casual tee, a tote and a pair of sneakers for that young, fun, professional look. Since I work as a freelancer, this look can go for a meeting with a client, an event and a dinner date. If you’re planning to party, you can opt to ditch the blazer.

It’s the weekend! Wake up late, stay in bed as long as you want to, cure that hangover, head to the gym and do whatever you want to do! Go for a black shirt, a pair of black shorts and black sneakers for a comfy and no-brainer look. Give it a bit of personality with striped socks and your favorite jean jacket. Head to the food park, the mall, go watch a movie and enjoy your downtime. You deserve it!

Ahhhh, there’s nothing like a slow Sunday. Go to church, treat your family a nice meal and spend time with them. Sundays are my off days so even if I don’t put a lot of effort in my outfit, I make sure the pieces that I’m wearing are strong enough to stand on its own. No need for layering nor accessories. Go for this casual button down, tank top and trousers look. Keep the lower part buttoned for a retro vibe. You may opt to go for a pair of black brogues, if not, sneakers can do the trick.
