Whether it’s a long haul flight or a one-hour plane ride to Boracay, airports can get a little overwhelming. The long lines at the security check, immigration, tons of travelers all finding their way to the right boarding gate, all that while trying to keep in mind that you didn’t forget any important document at home. This is why some guys choose not to dress up when going to the airport. Basically, it’s the least of their worries. However I understand how easy it is to prefer comfort over style. I should know, I love wearing my sweatpants, t-shirt, sneakers and my nerdy eyeglasses when embarking on a 14-hour flight to Europe.

I thought of doing a new segment on the blog wherein I would feature all my airport looks. It doesn’t matter how dressy or lazy they are–as long as they are wearable and relatable for you guys.

For my first “what to wear to the airport” segment I will be sharing with you a business casual airport look. This is not how I would usually dress up when traveling but since I was on a business trip,ย I made sure to suit up while making sure I strike a good balance of comfort and style. A blazer is essential for a business trip–the extra layer is great for the chill in the cabin and the pockets come in handy for storing your passport, phone, etc.

We snapped these photos really quick as we had such a jam-packed itinerary for our collaboration with Cathay Pacific. This is me trying to pose while looking out for my luggage to come out of the carousel. Haha! More about our exciting project in the next series of posts! For now, let me know what you think of this look. Is this something you would wear to the airport?
