It has been a while since I last did a “My Millennial Essentials” feature on the blog. (In case you missed the first one, you can read it here). I have been traveling for the past 2 months and I haven’t gotten the chance to go to my favorite tech and lifestyle shops to find something worth buying and featuring—but now I’m back and I am more than excited to share with you my stash of tech favorites! It’s not a lot but these are pretty much all my newly-discovered essentials for my travels.

I recently went on a trip to New York and these have made my life so much easier. For those who doesn’t know, I’m a complete neat freak when it comes to organizing my stuff for traveling—the complete opposite of how I am to my room or working desk. Haha!

Kidding aside, how lucky are we to live in a generation who are more open to exploring the world? We, the millennials, love to do many things, see many things and experience many things. We get to connect with so many amazing talented people, discover new places to visit—all that because of the internet. With that, I came up with these series of blog posts to connect with you, millennials, and help you with your essentials—to help you get the most out of your trips, and hopefully make your life a little easier.

P.S. All the items I got are in black since I tend to wear all-black outfits whenever I travel. I just think it’s much easier to style and look polished when you opt to wear black pieces. May it be a black shirt or hoodie paired with black sweatpants—it always works. Anyway, enjoy this blog post!

Now I am not a big coffee drinker (I know a lot of people who can’t function without coffee) but I thought this would be awesome to feature since I haven’t seen anything like this yet! Since most of us are “on the go”–we don’t have the luxury of time to enjoy a full breakfast, have a cup of hot coffee or tea at our own pace, catch up on the news, etc. This is where the Espro Travel Press comes in. This is for people who love coffee and tea, and want to take it with them anywhere. Whether gladly hiking miles with a heavy pack to the summit of the tallest mountains or being at sea, days from land. But of all the hardships you endure to see the world and seek adventure, we believe that going without a great cup should not be among them. It’s designed so you can brew your favorite cup, seal it with the travel lid, throw it in your bag, and go! Looks like I know the perfect gift for my friends this Christmas (yes I plan this early haha).

I featured earphones from my last “Millennial Essentials” post but this one is more high end than the last one—I think it looks pretty dope as well. I see a lot of travelers bring huge headphones when they travel, I prefer sleek, simple earphones that is easy to carry around but does the job. This one has a 12.5mm driver to reproduce powerful low tone and crystal clear high tone. Natural soundscape and smooth response from low level to high level. High-grade aluminum material to control unnecessary vibration and play music with clarity. Lightweight design for a perfect fit on your ears!

Whenever I travel I always go for small, thin leather wallets because I only bring the essentials such as my driver’s license, credit cards and cash. This simplistic leather wallet from Kiko is finely crafted with naturally unlined vegetable tanned cowhide leather. The wallet features heat-burnished details for a rugged exterior look and feel, two curved cut card slots for easy interior access, and a folded-cash sleeve. Pretty sleek!

Like I said, I’m a neat freak when it comes to organizing my travel essentials. When I look into my travel bag, I wanna make sure where everything is—and that everything is not packed into one place. I always distribute them for the simple reason that when someone decides to steal my stuff, there’s a chance they won’t get all my important ones. Haha! The Coversafe V series keeps cash, cards, keys and travel documents safe, concealed and close at hand. Each RFIDsafe™ blocking, adjustable travel accessory has been designed to be worn comfortably & subtly under clothing, all whilst helping to prevent identity theft. Breathable material and soft webbing straps add another level of comfort for humid and tropical climates making it an ideal everyday travel companion.

This is the kind of bag I always bring with me whenever I have a weekend trip, a long haul flight, or even when I head out to a coffee shop and do some work!
