When I was in highschool, I was the kind of student who would never recite in class, I would never agree to be the leader of a group activity, I dreaded skit presentations and monologues, I’d be so awkward talking to girls. Basically, I was an introvert. Blogging became an outlet for me to express myself…without having to deal with things that made me uncomfortable. I was happy behind my laptop screen—until I had to meet with clients and attend events! This was it. I was in the real world. It was time to come out of my shell.

The new generation are digital natives, but do we have what it takes to succeed in the real world? Social success is more than just social media – it’s all about finding and cultivating your best self to connect with others. I know a lot of people who are outgoing and crazy online, but when I get to meet them, they are very shy and reserved.

This is where John Robert Powers come into picture. JRP believes that there is no such thing as an unattractive person, just people who do not know how to make the most of themselves. I’ve heard about JRP when I was in highschool but I was really iffy about joining any of their classes for the main reason of not wanting to mingle with people or they might make me do things I’m not comfortable in. Now that I am in my early 20s, I have become more confident and sure of myself but I still have those moments wherein I would be so intimidated by the people I meet, not being able to speak up and feel like I’m back to zero. This is why enrolling yourself in classes such as the ones that JRP offers would be one of the best things you can invest in. Workshops and classes such as JRP’s Art of Social Success can help you in achieving your goals and self’s best version. The art of social success is about helping kids and teens to discover their skills, talents, and their potential as their unique selves. Whether it’s about making friends, navigating relationships, pursuing a passion or hobby, making a roadmap for the future or just building confidence, the art of social success equips them with the tools they need to succeed online and offline.
