I always make it a point to visit Circa 1900 whenever I have the opportunity to go to Cebu. It’s really never just about the food, it’s more of the whole experience you get–from seeing the beautiful colonial house that’ll make you feel right at home, to the delicious dishes that Circa 1900 has to offer.
I discovered this beautiful restaurant on Instagram last year and decided to visit it with my friends. Circa 1900 is a colonial house restored into a restaurant, piano bar and a function venue. Since it’s inside a residential area, it’s much more peaceful. You really get to feel like you’re away from the city. The staircase leads to the veranda, then to the main dining area, the piano bar and a few private function rooms. My first time in Circa 1900 was with my high school, blogger and Cebuano friends. We enjoyed a sumptuous dinner then we all went down to the garden area to enjoy a bottle of wine. The next time I came to visit, we tried to go for lunch and it’s a totally different experience! Either way, I assure you that would will have an amazing time. So go ahead and order the best dishes, maybe enjoy a glass of Italian Pinot Grigio and make wonderful memories with your loved one.
If you’re from Cebu or planning to travel here for Valentine’s Day, I highly recommend that you have your celebration at Circa 1900! A big thank you to my good friend Adrian for always hosting us!
