BROOKLYN

Location: NEW YORK

This was the same outfit I wore here minus the coat. Thought I’d take advantage of my trip to New York by shooting in every touristy spot that resonates with me. So the next time I come back in NYC (crossing my fingers), I’ll start going to where the locals go. I wore this after my meetings with Perry Ellis and Original Penguin, we finished early in the afternoon so that gave me more time to explore the city. I hit up downtown Manhattan and went to Brooklyn. NYC is composed of five boroughs–Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island and Brooklyn. Each borough has the same boundaries as a county of the state. I was extra excited to hit Brooklyn because I finished the whole season of 2 Broke Girls during the 17-hour flight from Manila to New York. Haha!

I was in Brooklyn for only a couple of hours because I had to head back to Times Square to watch a Broadway show–but judging from the little time that I spent there, I could tell that the city definitely has a more youthful, cooler and a slower pace of life than Manhattan.
