Warner TV’s iZombie: Drama with Brains

Feeling lazy on Wednesdays? Two more days before the weekend, huh? Wednesdays are tough if you have nothing exciting to look forward to. But if you are a fan of both Walking Dead and CSI you might just love this new TV series from Warner TV! I had a chance to preview some of the episodes and I must say, I am hooked! If you are into zombies and crime investigation shows then I bet you will be glued on your TV screens every Wednesdays, 9pm on Warner TV!

iZOMBIE is a new one-hour series produced by Veronica Mars’ Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright. Loosely based on a DC Comics series of the same name, iZOMBIE follows the non-superhero story of 25-year-old Olivia “Liv” Moore (Rose McIver) who juggles work, dating and friendships as a modern-day zombie. Due to her condition, Liv loses all traces of her former drive and ambition. She breaks off her engagement with fiancé Major, withdraws from her best friend Peyton, and tries to manage her worried mom after transferring her medical residency to the city morgue in order to gain access to the only thing that maintains her humanity— human brains.

However, Liv’s new diet makes her experience “visions” which are actually flashes of the corpse’s memories, often including clues as to how they were killed. After her boss, Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, encourages her to embrace this gift, Liv started working with homicide detective Clive Babineaux to help solve these crimes. See how Liv carries out her new-found purpose in “life” as a crime-solving undead in iZOMBIE. A zombie with a purpose!

iZombie is on every Wednesday9PM on Warner TV. Warner TV is available on SKY cable channel 77, Destiny Cable channel 80, Cable Link channel 30, and Cignal channel 116. To subscribe, contact your cable operator now.
