DISNEY LAND DAY 2

It’s Day 2 of our Hong Kong Disneyland Adventure! We had a good rest at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel so we were recharged and ready for another fun-filled day!

One whole day at Disneyland is not enough to explore and appreciate all the rides and attractions, quaint cafes, souvenirs shops (and more!) so good thing we had an extra day at the park!

We started Day 2 bright and early by exploring Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. Like true kids at heart, we even challenged ourselves to spot as many hidden mickeys as we can lol!

image

We love Disney’s Hollywood Hotel! It’s like old, classic Hollywood!

image

Walked around the hotel and took outfit shots for the blog! It’s the perfect location because it’s beautiful wherever you go!

image

How cool is this Mickey Mouse bench???

image

Look who’s here! My sister flew in today to join us! She may be old (lol kidding) but she’s a Disney-child at heart!

image

Of course, we won’t be able to get through the day without ‘filling up’. At Disneyland, there’s no such thing as boring breakfast! Aside from serving yummy Disney-themed breakfast, Disneyland Hotel’s Enchanted Garden allows you to meet and greet your favorite Disney stars while you eat!

image

It really is the happiest place on Earth! Disney characters go from one table to another to greet diners!

image

Mickey Mouse waffles!

Look who dropped by while I’m having coffee!

From left to right: Verniece, Pluto and David (just in case you mix us up lol)

Of course I chose Ozzma Kappa! We’re OK! We’re OK!

Give them your best scare and wait for the results! Was I scary enough? lol

Lunch break at the Starliner Diner! I’m enjoying my chicken wings way too much. Haha!

imageimage

I was able to ride the Mystic Manor in Day 1 but I didn’t get the chance to explore the Garden of Wonders, also in Mystic Point!

Several ancient sculptures and mosaics with 3D illusions are displayed in the Garden of Wonders. You must view them from particular angles to unlock their mysteries. Get ready to be bewildered!

image

You can find the Neptune Oblique Anamorphic Mosaic, the Phoenix, Qilin and Koi Sculptural Anamorphic and the magnificent Lamassu Bas Relief at the Garden of Wonders. Only when these artifacts are observed from a certain angle can you uncover the secrets they hold. Want to see?

image

Here you go! How amazing is this Lamassu Bas Relief!

image

There is also a new restaurant to try out at Mystic Point, the Explorer’s Club. It has five themed dining areas – Egypt, Russia, Morocco, India and China!

image

The Explorer’s Club Restaurant offers 16 delicacies from various Asian locations, such as Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and Indonesia. All food is Halal certified too. Some gourmet dishes, like Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup, are newly available at Hong Kong Disneyland, while the luminescent Blueberry Myst is a recommended special beverage!

image

Now back to Main Street USA to scout for a quiet cafe where we can rest and eat (again!)

image

Location found! We headed to the Corner Cafe at Main Street for afternoon tea

image

Check out our tea set! Beautiful and mouth watering too!

image

Staring Mike! Tastes really good and refreshing!

Look at my Sulley Blue Frightener drink! It lights up! Cool!

Woody is such an attention seeker! Look at his fans!

I will never get tired of witnessing Disneyland’s concert in the sky.

What a perfect way to end an amazing trip!
